I'm looking for a peice that I can use to go from the y-pipe to my STS pipe.
I just got replacement parts from STS because of a bad ceramic plate job and don't want to reuse the section that is there.
Its the stock piece and it looks like hell and is made of crap steel.
The y-pipe is at least made of a better stainless or part stainless material.
Maybe something from a Magnaflow kit??
Any suggestions would be great.
I have a SCSB 4x4 for reference.

By saying "from the y-pipe to the sts pipe" you mean that you need the pipe that nicely merges 2- 2.5" pipes into 1- 3" pipe. Right?

i think hes needing an intermediate pipe. i looked forever for a stainless i-pipe and couldnt find one. i finally got one from corsa but i had someones reciept and a name to "borrow" to get it done. magnaflow has one i wanted but they were as proud of their junk as corsa.

 

No, I need the pipe that went from the stock Y pipe to the stock muffler.
You basically saw your muffler off as close to it as you can when you do the STS install. The stock pipe sucks!
Its not really round and is made of crapola to boot.

The inside of he STS pipe that wopuld meet up with this pipe is 2.825" I.D.
This is the pipe I need it to mate to. The longer one.

 

Not sure if the one from magnaflow is stainless or not, but they have it in the catalog at www.justmagnaflow.com
