I know the 6.0 bolts up and all but what about the 8.1? Anyone ever done this swap in a .5 ton. I mean that would be so wicked. Anyway, give some feedback, i would love to be the first to do this.
Thanks,
Derek

most people would rather just bolt-in the 6.0 instead of having to custom fab everything for the 8.1...most americans are lazy.
but im sure it'd fit, might hav eot massage the firewall some, i dont know the exact dimensions between the 2.

It has been done. I know this truck has floated around the web and was on Trucks, but I can't find any pics or info on it right now. Its an orange rcsb with black stripes. I think it is the truck used to advertise the Flipper Cowl hood for Keystone. I'll keep looking and see if I can find it.
