As soon as I can get the money saved-up, I'll be driving down to Futral Motorsports for a custom LS1 Edit dyno tune. I'm also gonna have them port & polish my throttle body and if they'll do it, delete my egr. I told the guy I had a cam put in along w/ headers and a few bolt-ons. He said with tuning I should be in the 290-300rwhp range.

I was wondering if LOTSOFN or anybody else has had dyno-tuning with them? If so, was it a big difference? Any before/after dyno #s or track times.

After tuning I plan on getting: Electric Fans, ASP Crank Pulley, 4.10s w/ Eaton, Yank 2400 stall w/ tranny cooler.

Then, hopefully I'll be deep in 14s & in the 300-315rwhp range.

 

Chevycoonass just had his tuned but the air/fuel set-up was busted on the dyno so Allan had to tune it pretty much in the blind.I think he picked up a little over 10 horses.
We are supposed to order LS1 Edit for 1999-2003 here shortly so I will be able to get mine tunned right.I made 279hp/314tq but my air/fuel was off pretty bad with my Superchip's program.

 

Hey LOTSOFN, a little of the subject, did FMS install your corvette servo or did you? Any problems installing it? Oh yeah, where do I find one?

 

I think Allan has some in stock and yes he installed it.Doesn't take more than 15-20 minutes if that after the truck is jacked up.

 

Allen tuned my truck and I would say that it is well worth it.

 

where is futrall located? might have to give them a chance when the big motor is put in. blacksheep, what cam are you running? sounds like you have about the same setup as i will when my heads are done.
