Anyone have the 216/220 cam? Does it lope in a 4.8?

I had the comp cams 216/220 114lsa in my 1998 Trans Am. It had a decent chop to it, but nothing insanely choppy like a 110-112 lsa. The cam is almost the same specs as a stock 1998 Z06 vette. it has decent mid range and top end power. Great for the daily driver.

I listened to a couple sound clips of the 212/218 114 cam last night and was surprised how much lope they had (you should have a bit more lope with a 216/220 114 cam). I'm assuming they were untuned though. A good tune can smooth out the idle a lot. Conversely, purposely running a low rpm idle speed can increase lope.

Dammit the trick flow 216/220 doesn't lope in my setup!
Damn thing sounds like a loud stock cam idling around 800 in gear; 900 in park. It does sound a little more throaty on acceleration though. was a gamble. Now on to the next question. Does it make more power than the stock cam with a turbo setup? We will see....

I know this is a old post but did u ever find out if it made more power? I have 2004 Tahoe z71. I'm rebuilding a 5.3 motor for it and currently have a tfs 216/220 114lsa cam, Pac 1218 springs, btr trunion kit, arp head bolt kit, sealed power timing chain kit, ls lifter and guide kit, vette servo, and a cai. I plan on running it like this for a lil until I save up some more for a turbo kit and 4l80 tranny. Will this be a decent set up for daily driven NA setup and then with the turbo as well? I don't wanna switch out the cam later on so I was hoping it would be decent for both applications
