just curious if ayone has done a heads/cam combo yet? what are you using? what kind of gains did you get?

 

I have done one cam and head swap and one swap with just the heads. I dynoed my truck with the 212/218 and stock LS6 heads milled 20 thou. Just recently I installed a set of ported 5.3 heads and a NX wet kit. These trucks are a lot easier to swap H/C win compared to the old Vortec 5.7s and TBI 5.7s.

 

stupidfast: any 1/4 times? i see you have some dino #'s, what was you total hp/tq gain with that comdo? before and after?

 

I did not dyno my truck before the mods. I have no 1/4 times yet. I my best run in the 1/8 is 9.1 at 78mph. I need grip, 2.3 60ft.
