Default anyone with catless longtubes

after opening up your exhaust, does it seem like you hear more engine noise than before? especially from the exhaust. every since i did the longtubes i hear it ticking at idle and i just chalked it up to the longtubes. my motor runs great im just kinda wandering.

I have that. They are tiny ticks of which i think its just the exhaust gasses escaping from the chamber and eccoing in the primaries. You good.

i had longtubes on my 98 silverado and i noticed the same thing. i never had any engine trouble with it. every vehicle ive heard with headers made this noise. i think headers dissipate sound differently than factory cast manifolds.

always thought so, but never worried about it. my motor seems to run very good for what it is. just making sure nothing is wrong before i sell it to someone else thinking its a perfect motor.
