I got a line on some cheap cermaic coated JBA's. Will these make a difference at all? I know, I know, long tubes are the way to go. I am only considering these because they are dirt cheap.

Not really ... Just cut the exhaust in the right place and drop them in. Move some stuff out of the way and it makes it MUCH easier. If you want to know more specifics ... PM me or start a new thread so we don't hijack Bad's thread.

Bad .. I'd say if you can get them for ~100 what the heck. If for the bling bling factor for anything. I'm guessing with the body lift on there, you can see the manifolds through the fender well.

Those are the shorties I would go with if I had to go with shorties.

Thanks for the info. But there is no body lift here!

I'd go for it then ... They will look better under the hood than the rusted manifolds and heat shields at the very least. The coating should help you out too.

i have edelbrock ceramic coated headers on mine. got them for smog reasons and i didn't want to do a full exhaust [smog reasons] the difference to me was big, with the supercharger. don't know if anyone does it anymore or not but make sure they are coated inside too or they'll rust from the inside out. i've also heard the ceramic holds in so much heat, that if thy are not fully coated and you run a s.c it wll destroy the metal. i paid around $300 so that sounds like a deal.
