Lightbulb anybody experience this before?!

Ok just got a new Tahoe Z71. Fully Loaded. Only has 98 miles. I just filled the truck with 93 octane from BP Amoco. This is the first fill up. Almost 21 gallons.

All of a sudden a minute or two later, the entire truck started vibrating, like rattling, and it choked when pressing the gas and then the dash display said reduced engine power, and then the service engine light went on.

I shut the truck off. That vibrating stopped. The SES light still was on. After about 10 minutes I parked and it went off on the next startup.

I called Onstar did a diag check, some code came up but they didnt know what it was. They said sometimes there is air in the gas tank in fill ups which may cause it, or maybe the gas?

What do you guys think?

Any help would do.

Thank you so much.

sometimes the SES light will come on when the gas cap is not on. not sure why it would say "reduce engine power"
