Default Any one made their own intake tube? - 99+ G.M.

It looks like all you would need is a hunk of 4" tubing with a bend to get rid of thet clusterf%&k that is stock. Any ideas on what to use?

If you do electric fans it would be totaly simple. BLK6.0HD made one out of Fernco plumbers tubing from Home Depot. It comes striaght out, then bends down at a 90deg and has a conical filter on the end of it.

What do you use to connect the tb to the intake tube and make a good seal?

The rubber Fernco tubing and a hose clamp

abbo7, did you make it out to gainesville raceway much last year? I was out there alot. I miss that track, its always well prepped.

Where did you get that plastic hose from ? Ive been looking around at like home depot and HQ and cant find any hoses like that.
