Default Any if yall toss the red battery junction box out

I was wondering if any of yall have completely removed the red battery junction box from your truck and just wired everything directly to the battery ?

The one on the firewall on the early nnbs or like the 2010+ that has it on the battery post? Either way what would be the benefits of it being/not being there. The fuse i mean, its rated at 175 amps for the non nnbs guys lol.

Basically just to clean up some of the wiring and appearance of the motor is the only reason for doing this.

Had it for a while, just got rid of it a few weeks ago.

Battery is in the alternate location on the passenger side. Factory battery ground to the starter (perfect fit). 0 gauge from the + to the back of the alternator. 4ga from + to stud under the fuse box. 0 guage from battery - to back top of engine block. 4ga from battery - to stud on firewall.

Is there any noticeable difference in the electrical system after the big three on the nnbs? Was wondering because i have a audio system in my truck that used to dim the lights in my dads 03 silvy but not in my 07+.
