Any guesses to my 1/4 mile times?
#21
I have found most of these calculators are not that accurate for us "aerodynamically challenged" and "heavy weights." 1/8 mile seems to be ok but as mph increase beyond 100 mph and weight pushes 5000lbs+ the calculators seems to be less and less accurate.
BTW- The cam seems to be as nitrous friendly in the 5.3 as it is in the 5.7.

Great times!!
I'm the guy with the Harley. I guess you were there too !
I ran a new best too 13.32 @ 102 Mph- On street tires, full weight. Once My ET drags get in, lets hook up sounds like it would be a good run. Air last night was 800-900 DA. Good, but not like the the guys get on the coast -500+.

I know that I put down 293 last year, and I have done a few minor things since then. I figure to have 300 at the rear.
As far as fuel pressure - ???? I haven't checked it. I did autotap the run. My O2s were in the mid .90s with an average of 7* knock retard. The high O2s make me think that I still have enough fuel. Also, it looks like I could still gain some with tuning.
I may get a dyno and hit the juice on it sometime. I would like to know what its doing.
Parish - Just think what your 6 liter with heads and cam, your trans and converter, etc... could do with a 125+ shot.

Nice run.

Neil - MPH then was 98.5 or 99. I have the bucking bronco launch all worked out now. When you saw me run at Ennis last year, I had the Hill front torsion bar lift on. It made my front end act like a pogo stick. I took that off, and its a nice smooth launch now.
Jeff - (I assume its you and not Roger) I really wish we had hooked up earlier in the evening. That would have been a great show - 2 5400 pound trucks head to head, in the low 13s. You seemed to have pretty good traction as it was. You had a pretty hard burn out and didn't spin much on your launch. I may not make it back to the track until early next year, but I definitely want to hook up w/ you. Your times are very good too.
OX - I have another cam I was going to install this winter (Comp 212/218), but I really like the LS6 on the juice. It pulls soooo hard. I think I'm going to stick with it, but I may not...
