any gains on porting a l76 intake manifold?

Default any gains on porting a l76 intake manifold?

like the title says im trying to see if anybodyhas ported a l76 intake and if so what were the gains? thanks 4 ur time any info would be appreciated

Several guys I know who ported L76 intakes all said it didn't make a single bit of difference. The restriction is in the section where the runner pulls from the plenum and unless you can remove the bottom of the intake rework the affected areas then reseal the bottom, your not going to see any improvement. Perhaps the soon to be released Weiand intake will offer more..........
