any gains from Ls6 heads & cam

i have a friend that has his stock ls6 heads and cam. would i see any gain on my 5.3? i am thinking about just the heads right now

has anyone tried this and seen any good gains

Cam yes. Heads no, they are gonna drop compression too much to be worthwhile.
