Just curious about what it takes for a full size chevy pickup to run in the 13's.

So far a few of us have been in the low 13's. I believe even one or two guys in the high 12 range.

You should be able to hit low 13's with the basic bolt on's, some exhaust, and a 75-100 shot of N2O.
I still regret not getting a good timeslip with my truck when I had everything on it, but to give an example...

2001 GMC single cab/SWB - 5.3L w/3.73 locker

HPP3
Electric fans
ASP Pulley
K&N FIPK
Yank 3200 stall
TNT 100hp wet shot

With the above mods I ran a 13.8...however, the bottle went empty as soon as I got into 2nd gear. The bottle pressure at the end on the track read 500psi. For a wet shot that I had set up to run with about 1200psi....the low bottle pressure would have caused my motor to run rich and slow me down a lot, on toip of the bottle being empty.

If it would have been a full pass on the bottle with everything going good, I would think that the truck would have ran a very low 13 if not a very high 12.

It really doesn't take much high 13's na mid 12's on nitrous now.

Soon...mid/high 12's na and mid 11's on the bottle
