How do I get the plastic accumulator piston out of the accumulator housing?

It pops out. Its sealed with an oring and a little vacuum so just tap it on its side and it should pop out for you. Just remember if your going back in with the transgo, it doesn't go back the way you found it and most people like to change the plastic accum piston because it can crack and cause a bogging after you shift.
