any of yall on here running a cheater cam?!

Well if you are speaking of the 216/220 version, then just search for old man truck cam. Certainly someone has installed one on here. But if its the higher duration models, then I wouldn't do it without a 3600+ stall. They're an aweful lot of cam for a 4.8. Just my thoughts

im thinking of either the thunder racing 219/230 .607/.604 117 LSA or the 214/230 .601/.575 117 LSA....

and no i dont need a stall, these cams are made to pull throughout the the rpm range as said in the description-"Idle-6800 RPM Power Band. Broad power range"

sweet, that was all i was wanting to hear. im gonna go for it, maybe just set the idle a little higher than those trucks and run a 22" magnaflow and it'll sound nearly completely stock @ idle

Is that a joke? Your gonna run the stock TC on purpose?

the 4.8 needs a stall in stock form since it has no torque on the lowend
Those cheater cams were designed for ls1 5.7 which has torque and thats what the description is describing the cam in
