So, what are the possibilities of taking the stock cam from my truck and putting it into my '85 Firebird with a 305? I'm thinking it would probably be a good swap that costs little to nothing and the car would make a gain yet not feel modified or anything....

 

The cam out of your 5.3 into a old 305??

IF thats what your wanting to do it won't work!!
