Question AMW catch can with Radix

I bought a AMW catch can and bracket, and I'm wondering if I use can between the passenger or driver's side PCV hose. The passenger side goes from the head to the barb on the Radix intake tube, and the driver's side comes from the back of the head to the back of the Radix plenum.

And the instructions say: "If running forced induction, a check valve may be used in-line to prevent undesired pressure from entering catch can and/or prevent excessive line pressure. Check valve should be placed betwen vacuum source and catch can. (This also helps reduce boost pressure from making its way through the pcv and into the crankcase)" - Is this something I need with the Radix?

Blownchevy would know better than me, but if the pcv line that goes into the radix is before the actual screws of the supercharger (but after the throttle body) than you don't need a check valve (since that area will never see boost). But if it is after the screws you would need a check valve... does that make sense...

Yeah, that makes sense - I guess on turbos or centri blowers there would be boost in the PCV.

I'm guessing I put the catch can in the drivers side PCV since it is 3/8 and AMW includes 3/8 hose to install it. Although it would be convenient to use the pass.side PCV since its directly where I'm mounting the can

I sent one of my brackets to todd@prodyno to see if the can fit under the intake tube of the radix (mounted on the passenger side head). But, I never hear word if it fit or not. If it fits, I still have a few brackets left for sale.

Get in touch with Todd@prodyno and ask him if it fit (if that's what you want to do). That would let you mount the can on the passenger side of the motor.

******Disregard the above statement... I misread your message...****

I would think it would be possible for both lines to contaminate the intake with oil.

I have my pass side line hooked to a little K@N breather filter open to the atmosphere, and my drivers side line goes from the valve cover to a catch can to the intake.

I wonder if I could use 2 T's on both sides of the catch can and have both side PCV's running through it....or if that would mess up the pressure of one or the other....
