Default Aluminum or steel

Have any 99-04 single cab trucks come with factory aluminum driveshafts? In wanting to get every hundreth out of the truck for the southern shootout i think it may be benificial to reduce some rotating mass. Wil it be worth it to change or not? Its so easy to change I figure it wouldnt hurt.

I got a 4" aluminum driveshaft from a 3/4-ton G20 van. It's set up for 1350-series joints, so you'd have to get new u-joints and such. It measures 70" long...

Here are some pics:

Thats a sweet shaft. I wonder how much it would cost to get one lengthened to fit an extended cab.

80-e swap is still on the garage floor. Just waiting to get a little more $ together and get the rear end done at the same time so I can run 1350-series joints all the way through, including the yoke on the rear end.
