I have 2 gen 3 5.3s one aluminum and one iron block. Both are from the junk yard. I’ve always thought aluminum would be better but after alittle research I’ve been told not to use it. I’m wanting to build a turbo s10 drag only truck no street cruising or anything strictly no prep back half of track type stuff. What should I do? Wanting to stay on a smaller budget. Would like to go turbo but have no idea what stock parts I need to replace or anything. Might still consider putting nitrous to it instead. Wanting pros and cons of either, thanks!
