Default allison upgrades

Hi to all from Hawaii. I'm new to this forum and I love it. There is some much good info. There is one question that I have though. I've been thinking of getting a 03' 4x4 2500HD Duramax/Allison combo, but I've been weighing my options because of the Allison tranny. I've seen some posts that you can't re-calibrate because of the increased tire size. Also, I found a website that says it can beef up the Ally because of engine mods. Can anyone confirm this for me. Here is the website http://www.atsdiesel.com/products/pr...nsmission.html

Welcome aboard! My wife and I had our honeymoon on Oahu and Maui last summer. What beautiful and awesome places! Whereabouts do you live?

As for the Allison, I didn't think there was anything out there for it yet at all, calibration or otherwise. It's good to see somebody working with it.

Hypertech just came out with a programmer that supposedly lets you change the settings all the way up to a 38" tire.

But I don't think it removes the top speed limiter? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

And I think I saw somewhere that the Predator programmer very recently got a software update that lets you adjust tire size. Email them for more info: sales@runninwiththedevil.com
