Default All you guys with OBX headers - help please...

I just ordered these and got them - they're beautiful - great quality. But his ad claims: "Direct bolt-on without modification". How will this bolt directly on when there is no Y pipe provided? My guess is it won't. How did you guys install this? It looks to me like the setup provided ends in parallel dual pipes...?!?

i think the 4.8L and 5.3L come with the y-pipe. the 6.0L comes with all the piping for for a dual setup that connects with your factory pipes to the muffler.

Yep like they said.. It should have come with the piping to hook to the cat back.
Is your exhaust still set up for the 5.3L? If so you should have order the OBX's to fit the 5.3L.

OH I just re read your post, like Truckman said you ordered headers for a 6.0l, not a 4.8 or 5.3... The difference is the Stock 6.0l trucks have a dual inlet muffler the 4.8 and 5.3 have a single inlet muffler.... I am assuming you swapped a 6.0 into your truck, correct?

So if you have swapped a 6.0 into your truck that had a 5.3L you still need to order the headers for the 5.3???

Yes, if you are running the 5.3 exhaust, you'll need the 5.3 headers.

lol...yeah - big brain fart there....I bought the set for the 6.0 (yes, just swapped in a 6.0). No biggie....just ordered two Borla single-in/single-out mufflers and will run a dual setup.

Thanks for your help guys and sorry for the oversight...

Moze, be sure to write up on how your install went, how it feels, etc.. I am looking at getting a set of OBX headers and would love to hear some feedback..
