Airaid MIT for a 2009 2500 6.0?

Default Airaid MIT for a 2009 2500 6.0?
Can anyone tell me why the MIT would fit on a 1500 and not a 2500?

My brother in law is wanting to buy the tube for his truck and they don't offer one for the 2500. Any help is appreciated.

If it's the same motor as in the 1500, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't fit.

i agree. it just seems odd that they don't list it to fit that truck

just for anyone who might have the same question, the Airaid MIT will not fit on the 2500 because of the mechanical fan

Swap electric fans in, then it won't be a problem.

Would an MIT for a 99'-04' with the mechanical fan work? It has the "dent" to clear the fan shroud.
