Default air intake

i was just wanting to pick anybody's brain. i have a cold air intake with just the conical filter and the metal heat shield. does anyone think that i should go back to my homemade ram air setup on the stock air box or keep what i have? the ram air setup is just the same as everyone else is running. thanks.

im not sure what your running. but im very pleased with my fipk. and as far as ram air goes i take my light out and thats it. my fipk seals nicely to my underside of my hood. which then lets the air in from the use 2 b headlight opening.
pulls extremely hard. dont know if im the only one but maybe my truck is just different than everyones elses. have the least amount of mods but nice times. truck likes to chearp the tires in third on cool nights at the track[stock tranny]

hope this helps out

I like mine - sounds good - pulls hard
fits good - easy to R&I to work on other items
on the motor - I wont change mine.
