Default Air Filter Question

Do you even need these things? ..I only drive on about 100 yards of dirt road a day. I am sure
I will be fine without it.

I thought the MAF screen would be good enough to filter the dirt

i got rid of that one too. my headlight is in the way of the tube, so it shouldn't let any birds fly in there.

NO AIR FILTER???
maby for the dyno and an occasional run down the track but for a long time?
I don't know if that would be a good thing, definetly if you go even near a dirt road.

i put tobasco sauce in my fuel tank for that added boost as well! figured, it makes people run quicker to the bathroom, so it might make my truck run quicker too.

You guys are all wrong!

I just added the Ionic Breeze air filter right before my MAF (keep the MAF sensors free of dreaded K&N oil). You've seen this thing on TV. It requires no power to run and actually speeds up the air passing through it's unique astronaut designed blades. This effect works like supercharging. I bet once I get my boost guage hooked up I will see at least 4psi through it!!
