Question Advise, or Suggestions..

I've got a '99 RCSB 5.3L with AirRaid Intake System(basicly just the filter and the open box.) Flowmaster 40 series with turn down. and a DJM 4/6 drop. and toxic shocks are being delivered over the weekend. And lastly I have a Hard bed cover.

and here our adventure goes.... I'm taking out a loan for $3k, where would you guys suggest/want to see/think I should go from here? I've considered to sell the flowmaster for magnaflows. but thats where I'm stuck at. you guys help me decide to spend the rest of my 3k.

This is a dragger/beater. No towing or hauling.

Get a Magnacharger.(Radix) You'll need more money though.

Well first of all cancel the order if not to late or return the Toxic shocks they are complete garbage! Get the doetsch-tech slammer shocks for a way better ride. If you thinking about beef'n up the 5.3 go with a good cam , LS6 springs, stall, pacesetter L/T headers, 3:73 or 4:10 gears with a eaton locker and lastly upgrade your whole PCM to an 02 with a nelson tune for all the upgrades you be making. Also you need to upgrade the stock tranny.

Or just swap the 5.3 with newer 6.0L with some upgrades. Not sure if this is about 3k tough!

Want your truck to feel like a rocket? Do 4.10 gears with a Eaton or similar then a 3000+ stall. You'll be smoking tires like you have 1000hp. Or buy a used Whipple or Radix, bad part is you'll have to upgrade more stuff down the road. Don't know what your truck budget is outside the 3K? Heads and cam is also a great bang for the buck.

Cam, springs, stall, longtube headers, and a custom tune. That should eat up most of 3K pretty well depending on how much of the work you do yourself.

If you are good with wrenches find a 5.7 or 6.0 to swap into it.
