I currently have a 08 GMC Quad Cab Z71 running 35's 6.0 with DOD. I have the corsa sport on currently and have had it for 2 months. I like the sound but I would like a louder muffler. I know about most of them, however I can't stand the drone from flowmaster 40 series but love the sound, and I hate the sound of magnaflow. Any suggestions? I've ran custom built bassani mufflers on my last 3 trucks and loved it, but I am affraid the DOD will make it very annoying. Also besides Dynatech who is making LT headers for the 07-08 4x4 guys? Thanks

 

well....If I was in your position I would have the DOD tuned out, and rock a borla muffler or a flowmaster super 40. I havent had to much of drone with the super 44 either. As far as headers go I know that Pacesetter makes lt's for the 07 4x4. Not sure if there is a difference for the 08 I doubt it. Im sure someone will chime in and let us know!

 

i have borla and it fives a pretty nice low rumble with no drone at all mine is a 4.8 but it still has a great sound

 

I have an slp loudmouth 1 with Lts and ory pipe on my 4.8, all the loudness you could want.

 

Gut or remove ur cats...it'll be plenty loud for ya. R/

 

thanks, I think when I get some money I will have another bassani custom built for me and replace the corsa muffler. I don't want to remove the cats yet on my truck.

 

I love my Gibson Supertruck, or whatever its called. The one that sweeps out in front of the rear tire. But I opened it up with the dual High flow Kats w/ upgraded Y-pipe from magnaflow. Its got a real aggressive sound at WOT
