Wasnt real sure where to post this, but this section has a lot of traffic so hopefully i can get the answer here.

Does anyone know if the 5.3 (2000 for refrence) use the same AC compressor as say a Trans Am or Camaro?

 

I can check for you tomorrow sometime if no one has an answer. I want to say yes but, I'm not for certain.

 

They are different. And there are 2 different truck compressors actually.
