i get the same thing that happens. the ABS and ebrake light flashes, but only when my truck is moving. i have a dash overlay kit, so all i did is took eletrical tape and put it over those lights on the dash. i forget they are even there. truck runs fine

the "brake" light will follow the ABS light when there is a problem. do you have different tire sizes front to rear? it sounds like a wheel speed sensor may have a bad connection or is going bad. if you changed your gear ratio, you need to reprogram your ECM. if you already did that, it sounds like your wheel speed sensor was damaged during the gear swap. the ABS computer looks at all four wheels and compares their speed to one another and they should all be fairly close. if it sees (or thinks it sees) one or more wheels turning at a significantly different speed, it thinks there is a problem.

would having bald tires on the back and new tires on the front cause this to happen? maybe that is my problem.

BTW, i noticed it a few months after my eaton install too

If both the lights come and the brakes do not fail or feel funny, then its most likely due to an erratic speed sensor. Mine did it untill i had the "stealership change it. And now its fine.

bald tires driving in the white stuff!!?? you be nutz!!

actually, the only reason that might affect it would be a significant difference in diameter like i said before. otherwise, i doubt it. speed sensor like i said.
