? about the ecu

i have a 4.8 in a ex. cab short bed and was wondering if i upgrade to a 5.3 or 6.0 will i have to change the ecu?

No sir, your current 4.8 PCM can be reflashed to match the engine that you swap in. It requires tuning software such as EFILive or HPTuners, or you can get a custom tune like that which is offered by Wheatley and BlackBear (links to the right >>> )
