Default ? about a 6.0l

does anyone know if a 200-4r tranny will hook up to a 6.0l motor? i am thinking of putting a built 200-4r that I have behind the motor.

If you have one of the dual-pattern bellhousing (Chevy-BOP)units, yes it will
bolt up except for one bolt. These generally came in G-body cars with the
SBC motors and aren't as common as the BOP (Buick-Olds-Pontiac) bolt
pattern case units used behind the V6's and such. I'm not as familiar with what convertor bolt pattern and depth differences may come up though.
The 200-4R uses the same converter pattern and depth as an early 700R4,
though. Maybe someone else can chime in?
