99 C-1500 exhaust?

I am going to be putting a set of headers on my truck, I already have a hooker muffler. My question is will replacing the stock exhaust pipe with all
2 1/2" help out enough to justify reduing my whole exhaust?

do you have an OBS truck? if not then you already have 2.75 diameter pipe from the factory

Yes....it will. In some areas the pipe is 2" or smaller so redoing the entire system is a great move.
