99 4.8 to 05 5.3 swap

You could just re-use your 4.8 intake and buy a 1 1/4 - 1 3/8 rubber expandable plug from auto zone for $1.50. It fits in perfectly in the EGR hole and looks factory.

Pretty sure that they'll bolt right in, if you have any problems you can use your 4.8 intake and get a block off plate from the dealership for the EGR port on the intake. Check both intakes on the passenger's side by the throttle body and make sure that there isn't any extra vacuum ports on one or the other, I remember reading that somthing may be different between that part of the intake on the cable to DBW throttle body intakes. If you do have to use your original intake, at the very least swap over the injectors from the 05, as the 99's have less flowing 21 lb injectors and the 00 and up have 24.7 lb injectors.
