Default 99 2500 knockin

ok guys , my 99 2500 is making a annoying knockin sound when idling but once u hit the gas just slightly and the oil pressure gets up it quits, , anyone know what it could be? it just started this about 3 weeks ago and i figure it was cause of the oil but i jus changed it and it still didnt help. any thoughts?

if it is the slap most people just live with it and it never hurts anything. even if it is hurting anything the best thing you can do is just drive it till it dies and go get another one at the junk yard for $800. around here and many places you can pick up a 2001+ 40-90k 6.0 for $800 and it will even be a little better than the one you have.

well its also throwing a code that i cant seem to trace down for anything PO300, random/multiple missfire on cyl 1 and 6. i've replaced injectors, all o2 sensors, did a top engine clean, changed egr, checked for vacuum leaks, and jus put a fuel pump in it today and still not helping anything. its sucking gas like crazy and tryin to die out every now and then, but sometimes it'll run perfectly fine, get good gas, and never flash the service engine light, but most of the time, gas sucks and the service engine light flashes .

the tap i guess i could live with, its annoying, but i cant deal with the shitty gas. any advice on this??

if i cant figure it out soon i may look into getin another motor instead of ordering my headers and stall. i dont wanna but i need my tow pig
