Default 99-01 Headers on a 04 truck?

Has anybody used the 99-01 headers on a 04 pick up? Anybody know if they will work? I know the later truck dont have EGR, is there any other difference?

That would not be a problem. My ASM's came with a cover plate just in case they were going to installed in a 02 truck without egr. I am almost sure all other brands will come with this plate just in case you don't it.
