Default 90mm F.A.S.T. Intake Impressions

This is a Vengence Racing ported 90mm F.A.S.T. intake/90mm UMI Throttle Body combo on very mild 383 LS1.
Tested it out this morning. Throttle cable/accelerator is pretty tight and feels weird during normal driving. I'm gonna loosen it up just by moving the throttle cable from the second hole on the tb to the first hole. Being so tight feels like I lost some "snappyness" down low and off the line. Besides that it feels great! 1st gear is almost useless on the street now. Before I could be going 20-25mph and get on it and spin the tires just for a second and grip and gradually chirp them until it shifted into 2nd gear. Now it just spins. When punching it from 35mph it feels a little stronger than it did before and when it gets over 5000 rpms, it keeps pulling hard until the shift point which is around 6300.
Overall I'm happy with it. It totally changed the way my engine sounds. It alot louder and deeper when at WOT. I guess it's the different material and so much more air moving through there. I've got a dyno-tune set at futral next friday. I think that will help out a BUNCH. I think it could pull a little higher in the rpms and I think there is another 10-15 rwhp that could come out of it after the tuning. I think that I've gained at least 20-25 rwhp as of right now. And that's through the converters/full exhaust. Haven't tried it through the cut-outs yet.
