I have a 2002 5.3L flex plate I am going to be selling, I could measure it and see if it might work. You never know!

I could be wrong, but I think I used my 60-E flex plate with the 6.0 and the 80-E. I had the same problem as you when I got the new converter. Wish I could remember what I did......................

you know it is closer to what i need. but even if i elongate the holes in it i think it would want to walk since the main two holes are a lot bigger than the bolts.

Drill the Bitch unless you wanna buy a Pre 99 flexplate
Use the 60e one and hog out the holes just enough
Worked for me and was nice and cheap

Don't use the 60e flex plate because it has a different offset. I think maybe it was Snake Eater that had a problem where he used a 60e flex plate and the snout on the converter didn't go in the crank enough (because of no spacer), which caused it to be slightly out of balance. It ended up doing something bad I think.

I say hog out those holes on the 6.0 flex plate and call it done.
