What exhausts sound the best? I was thinking of the american thunder from flowmaster it sounded pretty good in the clip I heard. Any one have any clips from other exhausts? Hows it sound with just the muffler cut off and straight pipes out the back? It didn't get locked, I moved it to the Non-Tech truck section because it was just a couple of pics with out a question. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

To try and help answer your question, give us a little info on your tastes. Do you want stock, performance, soft at idle loud under accel, or all the time "go to jail loud"? Flowmaster , Magnaflow (my favorite), etc... will be good depending on the model and your taste. Banks, B&B, Corsa, and Borla to name a few all make good catback systems, but are more expensive.

 

I saw that you moved it my bad <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> . I have a Corsa on my ta and it sounds sweet but not worth the money to put on the truck. I like loud with a mellow tone and louder than stock at idle. I've only heard one 8.1 with an exhaust and it was a dynomax or something now I forget what it was. Does anyone have sound clips or a place i can find them. The truck is a 2002 HD with an 8.1L
