I have put a standard turbo muffler on my 8.1 2003 gmc 2500hd and it lasted about 7-8 months before it cracked around the center. The mechanic said they would replace it free of charge but they would have to go with a fake flow master and it will be louder. now less than 2 years later it has gone bad inside!. All the truck does is tow a 8,ooo pound camper camper with a 1,ooo pound golf cart in the bed 4,000 miles a year. i just want a muffler to have a bit better sound than stock with out worring about changing it or replacing it.
