Default 8.1 injectors ready to install

alright guys... i got a pair of 8.1 injectors so i can get rid of my whipple aux. injectors. what all is involved with the swap, and what should i set my ls1 file too?

Set the IFR to 3.77 to start and tune your LTFT's from there. Change your PE table to make sure you don't go lean at WOT. You will also want to tune your injector offset -- Look for the stock values or ask for them on the ls1edit list.

I think you need to Clarify which ones you have
i think the automotive versions found in the truck are smaller
the Marine versions are larger i think
where did you get these things from ?

IFR in the 8.1 PCM for the stock ~30# 8.1 injectors is 3.77
IFR for the 8.1 marine 43# injectors has been tuned between 4.77 and 5.25. My marine injectors are set to 5.17 but I am sure it will change once I tune the offsets.

If you got the truck ones it might not be enough to compensate for getting rid of the aux injectors. The Whipple uses 2 40lb'ers. Just something to think about.

ok... they are the stock truck ones. they flow at 30 pounds. will they work, or did i screw up and purchase the wrong ones?

i plan for about 7 or 8 psi once i intercool. so im sure im gonna need a bit more fuel.
