Yep, planning on a upgraded tranny soon and then a bottom end next year. The injectors work great with the new harnesses, alot of fuel as mentioned when needed. Someone needs to just build a 422 and throw it in their truck with a 150 shot <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

 

Parish you might have made a mistake in your calculations on the flow rate of those 38LB injectors. I think you forgot to square root it. Correct me if I am wrong but shouldn't it be:

sqrt(59/43.5)* 38 = 44LB/hr

I don't know what PSI they tested those SVO's at so that is the factor that I needed to know. I just went by the normal 43.5 on the RC Tech website. Let me know if this is wrong.

parish the motor is not going to be stock at all. it will have a stock crank and lifters and that is all. spent big on the motor such as manley rods je polly dyne coated dish pistons polly dyne coated cam main and rod bearings.zo6 oil pump factory head gaskets for now jessel shaft mounter rockers. thought about o-ringing the block but can do that later because i am using head studs. did not go cheep on any thing. i want the motor to hold what i am going to throw at it. would of went big bore but it is a daily driver and i am trying to keep diecent gas mileage. yes i am very aware of the tranny and cost it will probably be the next up grade when it craps out. i am also eventualy going to put a 12bolt or 9inch in it too. i am very aware of all the little things i am going to face and me and some buddies are going to get ls1 edit and a-tap. for how much i am spending this thing better haul a**.
