Default 8.1 adjustable fuel pressure regulator / hard start

Is there any adjustable fuel pressure regulators available for the 8.1? Has anyone else had problems with them (O.E.)? I have an intermitent starting problem with my truck, it'll crank but not start. If I cycle the key enough times it'll eventually start (2-5 minutes,) and go for about 2 weeks before it acts up again. We've got it pretty much narrowed down to a faulty FPR but I'd like to find an adjustable one and turn the pressure up a little bit (1-2 psi) I've heard that really helps out on atomization/fuel burn = better performance. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

The stock regulator is adjustable security torque #10 and yes it did make a differnce in power but fuel milage will suffer badly.

stock regulator works well, you can adjust the stock one to give you more power, I haven't had problems with the regulator though
