You did miss quite a bit of my point, and are missing out on quite a bit of power by just swapping to a different cam with more duration but very low lift.
Swapping to a cam with just higher lift, but same duration (as i believe i posted the gtaph previously in here) you gain at least 10hp and tq across the board. Same drivability but more power? No brainer there. And thats on a 5.3l with cathedral heads. On a rect port if used would be more due to how they pick up after .500 lift. Thats on stock cr also.

Some more food for thought.
