Default 706 head ?'s

ive got a set of 706 heads ive had ported and what not. I was looking at getting them milled to bump the compression up a little. I have a 2000 tahoe was wondering how far i can go. Will be using stock gaskets... any help?

Well not sure if it helps but I got my heads milled .030" and supposed to be around 10-1. But if you mill them your going to want shorter pushrods to compensate for the heads being milled. Where in east texas you from?

well you really cant say anything about the pushrods until you get the heads in there and get a pushrod length tool. Usually everyone has slightly different results
