Default 7.391@94.98/1.72 60ft

7.391@94.98/1.72 60ft
150 shot, 1/2 tank of pump gas, no weight reduction (spare,jack,etc...), heavy *** cast 20's on the front, shifting at 6000, and 2/4 drop on stock suspension. This motor is perfect and exactly what I wanted. Although, it would have been nice to break 95 MPH.
I think I could get the 60ft down just alittle. I might go out Sunday but, I will probably just wait until the other kit goes on. Once again thanks to AP, Thunder, and ESP.

I'm happy!

When are you gonna give it a 1/4 mile shot?

I would guess you are good for the number 3 spot.........

Dammit, my best so far is 7.41 at 94.55. Time for me to up the shot !!! Congrats on the numbers !!! I don't know about where you race, but around here when I drive in and run mid 7's in the 1/8th I have a million people swarming around wanting to know what the hell is under the hood. I guess the blower whine contributes to that too ! Have you ever heard "Is that a 350? " I get that all the time.

How do you keep the tires from spinning? I don't hit the spray out of the hole. I wait almost the 60ft mark and still get the 28-10.5s spinning for alittle while.
When everyone runs over and just sees the headers and one little old fogger nozzle, all they do is scratch their heads. And then you get the people that say,"Oh, he sprayin."
P.S. What do you run on just the blower?

I run a 30x13.50 ET Street and the rest of my suspension is stock 'cept for some home made lowering shackles on the back. I have let others drive it so I could watch it launch and it looks like it won't take too much more to lift the left front wheel off the ground. My 7.41 was with the blower and a 75 horse dry shot. Was going to convert it to a wet system and jack it up to 150 or 175, but not now with these stock pistons. I ran a 7.6x last time out on a 50 shot. I'm going to the track tomorrow and the high temp is supposed to be 78. I am going to put the 75 pill back in and see if I can go 7.3x lol.

Sunday is the time to go. Saturday is Bracket Racing. I will probably be out there Sunday, about 6:00. If it doesn't rain.
