I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 with the 5.3 and the 4L60E auto trans. Just wondering if there is a 6 speed manual trans. conversion out there simular to the one found in the late model Camaros

 

I haven't heard of any. I'll keep a lookout though. That would be a nice improvement. They do have a manual tranny, but it's only availiable on the 4.8 and probably won't hold up too long if you plan on pushing 350 or more rwhp.

 

Man, It would be great to have a setup like the Camaro 6 sp. I think that you could increase you 1/4 mile e.t. and increase your fuel mileage. I sure wish I could find some that has done that mod and see how difficult it was. Thanks FAST4.8 for the reply.
