Default 650 - 700ish rwhp 6.2 turbo reliable daily?

reliable daily driver is my gold

I bought a 6.2 about 5 months ago and i'm looking for a truck to put it in, I want to turbo it can that be done? whats the best route to take? (cam? pistons? rods? intake manifold?)

i'm wanting a 95-98 body style is there a kit for it or just the 99+ truck?

Can it be done, yes.

Stock rods/piston/intake could get you there, a different camshaft would likely be wanted.

I'd lower your power level though if it's a daily and you actually want to use the power. Trying to put down 650-700whp on street tires is like pissing in the wind. It'll never hookup and just spin for days. 500-550hp the tire would be easier to reach with basically stock everything and would be more usable power while still being plenty of get up and go.

The more power you want the more you need to spend on other parts too like fuel pump, injectors etc etc.

i'm looking to run mid 10's or faster in the 1/4 mile, I totally understand about traction 1st gear in my zo6 on the street is useless with DR's 2nd gear is decent tho, but at the track with slicks i can hook and clip a 1.50 60ft, 600hp 599tq rear wheel 3350lb loaded with me so yeah on the street its a hand full

i was thinking forged pistons and rods with stock crank so i can sleep at night and build the trans and diff to but want it to be real street friendly

Yes that power level is attainable with a stock short block.

Trick has some great looking turbo kits that will fill your needs. I would look at his stage 5. As FFDP said you will need a cam swap to get there.
