Default 102mm TB to nnbs mani w/ adapter plate?

Anybody ever tried to fit a 102mm throttle body on a NNBS manifold with an adapter plate like:

LS 4 Bolt Thottle Body Adapter - 92mm Intake Manifold to 102mm Throttle Body

??

The only info I've seen so far is some guy bolting a SD 102mm TB to a nnbs manifold and stated it fit without an adapter. I can imagine there was a huge difference in matching the rear of the tb to the front of the manifold.

This thread is completely for mechanics of the idea. I realize that the TB is way too big for anything a nnbs manifold would be sitting on.

I used the same adapter to put a 102mm on my supercharger

So I guess in theory, given what you said, this will work. I assume your blower unit was machined to accept the stock throttle body?

I have a 92mm on my NNBS intake, it required me to open up the TB opening on the manifold. I don't see a 102mm fitting without an adapter or some mods to the intake.

That's what I'm working towards. Thank you. How much material did you have to remove? Any pictures?

I didn't take any pictures, was in a rush to get it assembled. If had to guess, around an 1/8 inch was removed.
