Could I use van pcm in my pickup and not need a tune since its the one that came with the 6.0?

I think the 5.3 is rated at around 285 and 6.0 lq4 is rated 300+ i pretty sure them numbers or close

if you plan on going FI, stay with the 5.3. They make amazing #s when you bolt a blower /turbo to them. If you plan on staying NA, its worth the swap. you can find a long block (block, rotating assy, and heads) for under $1K, you just have to look around.

ok well that answers that question, I totally plan on throwing up big numbers with twins when I can afford it. so now that that's answered, I have another one. should I go ahead and do the 4l80e swap then. and what do those usually run?

I want a good solid base that's gonna be tough enough to handle some serious power. I wanna do an all out build and go over 500 or 600hp so I need something that'll be able to handle it
