Does the 6L flow that much better than the 4.8 intake and are there any differences in size in the injectors and throttle bodys? Thinking of doing a motor bore and was told lsx or 6L intake. Huge price difference is the lsx and 90mm tb worth almost $1000?

 

Well there are two 6.0L intakes so lets just clarify. There is a gen III truck based 6.0. All truck intakes are basically the same. The LS2 (which is a 6.0) has a different intake then our trucks and is similar to the LS6. Truck intake to truck intake swap is not worth the effort.

 

Are you sure you are not talking about an LS6 intake? That would be worth it. As far as I know, ALL the truck intakes are the same except for the ones with EGR on them.

ssssshhhhhhhiiiiiiitttttt everyone knows the 4.8 has the best intake design. why you think it can beat a 5.3?

FYI:
The SSR with the new LS2 390 HP motor has a "Truck style" intake it is different than the LS1 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 truck intake.
